A 4-hour trip may be suitable for nearshore fishing. For offshore fishing and larger game fish, 6- or 8-hour trips or longer are often recommended, depending on the vessel.
You may bring food and drinks, subject to the selected boat's policies. Some fishing charters also include drinks, ice, and other amenities.
